Best Looking Fire
I've found particle fires to be unrealistic and was using a one prim plane sculptie fire in my fireplace until the PBR rollout and found the animated texture to be constantly glitchy. This is the best looking fire so far in my opinon. Smooth animation with no texture glitching. At first I found the light to be too bright, but was able to turn the light off after starting the fire by selecting one of the 3 faces that had the light check mark box in features edit. The light will turn back on when restarting the fire, but you can repeat this process to achieve the desired effect.

Oh, the mesh fire looks great alright!-- BUT... the light it produces (for those using "Advanced Lighting") is white light... when it should be a more orange light... and the script that does the on-off is no-modify so... you can't change that unless you intend to change it for the whole product every time you turn it off and on... ALSO, the radius for the light it produces (for those using "Advanced Lighting") is.. i'm guessing 10 meters, which is great for big fires but for small fire places.. more intimate fires... that's WAY too much light for such a small fire...
Dear Creator, I will happily update my review with 5 stars when/if these things are EITHER disclosed in the product description so it can be known before we buy... OR... the product is updated (and/or I can have an "intimate fire" version that is smaller and has the orange light with like... 3.0 radius.) Thank you! <3
Uhm...wow?!
I had no idea mesh fire could even look this good. It even has loose tongues of flame flying off at the top! No more fighting w/ particle scripts to get my flames looking presentable!
