I am very proud to present this animated river building set featuring super realistic animated water!
Pack one has all the pieces you need to create a meandering river flowing across your land. This set will add a touch of virtual magic to your landscape!

The animated water uses real world video source to capture the endless variation of real river water. Full use of SL Materials allows the waves to sparkle and dance in the sunlight. Come see for yourself!

Straight - 7 prims at 14m
Curves x2 - 10 prims 14.5 meters
Bank Curves x 2 - 10 prims 14.5 meters
Wedge Curves x 2 - 4 prims at 7 meters
End Sections x 2 - 3 prims

Extra Rock (scattered groups) 2 prims each group

Land filler pieces are available for those who do not have terraform permissions

I really love Skye's sets, the realism and creative ability and I buy quite a lot from this creator.

This river set is very nice IF you want a small river more like a stream. If you want to create an actual BIG river these pieces jump to HIGH prims big time and they are not low prim to start with. For example; P1 Bank Curve Left piece is 10 prims if I make it the size to fit my river it's 25 prims! As you can see in the Gyazo photo below. So we are talking like 400+ prims to make a large river across a sim.

It would be SUPER SWEET if we could have also in the pack JUST the RIVER BANK pieces with the bank portion a lot smaller. If you delete the rocks and water at the large size you have 11 prims, ok we can deal with that, but you are left with the bottom of the river still and a skinny area for the river water with no way to make it bigger. Now you can stretch each individual piece but then they separate in the middle creating a huge crack. Sighs.

I had thought about getting one of the bank sets but they seem like even more prims. I have the Rocky Shore Building Set and the Rocky Platforms Building Set and they also jump prims big time if made larger. If you do not have prims to spare then these kits really are not going to work for you. I wish there was a way to make them so that they did NOT jump prims so heavily.

Great Set

The river construction set was pretty much the first set I purchased from Skye, after spotting it on an exploration tour at Second Norway.

The Pack comes with several shapes, including straight pieces, turns and end pieces. Also included are some river banks for it, so that the set can be embedded in a landscape with non-terraforming-rights. Also included are some mesh stones, also acting as sound emitters for the river.

By matter of optics, the set looks superb. Usage is also swift and easy. In fact, one can't do anything wrong, when purchasing the set. So far I really recommend the river for a natural and realistic landscape.
