Add this script to any non-physical object. When you touch the object, it will slowly swing back and forth.

The script uses llTargetOmega, which works on the client. Since the script is run from the server even minor communication delay (lag) can cause the swing to get out of phase.
Once I read the comments, I could figure out how to add it to make a swing.
I'm seeing some abnormalities, and have contacted the authoer but not heard back yet. issues I'm seeing here (which could just be sl acting up) are:
swing doesn't just swing forewards and back.. it gradually swings either back more each time, or forewards more each time, and after a while, you are swinging at the wrong angles.
Stopping the swing does not reset it to point 'down" as if it is at rest.
Since it's no mod, there are NO comments or instructions for use. It appears you cannot build this into a item that has a swing attached, but the swing itself must remain unlinked.
Twice when i selected the swing to start or stop it, sl crashed. the second time, it crashed so hard, I had to reboot completly.
Being able to get at the script, and inputting the swing amount would be useful.
Hopefully I'll heard back from the creator and use will be explained, and the issues can be addressed.
I must admit the first one i got didn't work as i needed, but after contacting the designer he was most helpful. I probably wouldn't give the script as high a rating as i would the service behind it. Thanks so much for great customer service.
Geee , I havent even seen this script yet , but what the heck Is with these ratings and resons why , I mean Its 10 linden folks , and It comes with a contact for help and someone willing to give advise , the advise alone Is worth 10 linden , geee , I have items on SLX that are 100X more complicated , and never get resons why for ratings and there over 600 Linden . lol , BTW 10 linden for a script Is trial and errror to begin with :)) my rating of 5 stars Is for the Q&A for the seller and the time put in for helping others...
I'm sorry to have to give you 1 star but I was very disappointed with this script, you have it set to no modify and there was no way to adjust the swinging, if you at least allow the owner to have rights to adjust, and let them know to take the check out of no modify once they set it, then you will probably get a better review
I had the same experience, this is not really a true "swing" script and should be renamed, it's really more of a rocking script. I worked for a while with this to use it for a bench swing I built...not being able to modify it made it useless for my purpose.
I originally rated this two stars, however the author had helped me make the crib I wanted, therefor in all fairness I change my review.
