shell (full permission)

This does not rez. I have land permission, other items I buy rez, I'm not a newb. I did unpack it. I've tried placing it on tables, on ground, and even tried wearing it on my right hand. Nothing. I was gonna add a NC burner to it and use it in a ritual as a very powerful object, giving out copies as favors. Am I missing something?? Am I stupid? Its not working at all- its completely invisible (the invisible prim doesn't even show up when I search my land use as other prim does) and I wasted $10L ;(
