The authoritative kit for creating cave tunnels! This kit is our most complete tunnel kit, and since it's mesh, you no longer have to worry about physics prims (those annoying invisible prims you need with sculpties so you can walk through your caves!
Simply place pieces alongside each other and you have a tunnel. Comes with baked textures (or use your own)! There is a separate texture channel on the outside of the tunnel, so you can put a transparent texture on the outside so you can see inside of the cave (like the classic [FYI] Sculpty Cave Tunnel Kit) or you can place textures on both.
This kit was designed to give you as many pieces as possible. It includes a wide range of pieces for your caves, grottos, tunnels, and whatever you decided to build!
Pieces start at 3 prims and cost no more than about 10 per piece (at reasonable sizes, large enough for a large AV to walk through.
This kit is specially designed to work with the FYI Mesh Terrain Kits (all versions). The Cave Entrance pieces in the mesh terrain kit are designed to lead right into tunnels, so you can build a complex system of cave tunnels

Sucked enough to get me to actually review it
More like rough-textured McDonalds PlayPlace slide tubes than anything resembling a cave or a tunnel. Pretty much useless for anyone taller than three feet.

I bought this thinking "wow this is a great tunnel system". Though I will have to say its not for the Tall people. I stretched it and as others have said before me it's out of wack. That is what I get for not trying before buying. Definitely not worth what I paid for. I don't want to have to use extra prims just so I don't have to walk through rock.

yaa bad physik but many fullperm item´s and you can safe more if you do outside transparent
Only a few problems
I got this and your interior cave kit, and neither come with the texture used, so matching them up is.. weird, to say the least, since I haven't managed to find any similarly good rock textures. However, for this tunnel set, the physics are a strange problem! Falling out of the physics, thats fine, mesh does that, but somehow some chunks break in the building process and I can't go through them? Its weird, they work fine, I work elsewhere, and suddenly that part of the tunnel doesn't work. No idea whats causing that. Strange angles perhaps? Otherwise a very nice kit for anyone who springs for it.
Very useful
Definitely useful for builders. They are best looking full perm prefab tunnels I've seen so far.
Though you do not need to use transparent floor prims anymore, I ended up using them any way. With a lot of tunnel sections you are standing either up to your knees in rock or floating half a meter above it. It would have been ideal if the tunnel floor would have been a bit more smooth and flat. I use a textured prim floor now with some sculpted rocks on the floor, in combination with the mesh ceiling/wall it still ends up looking great.
So yes it is usable without a prim floor and you can walk relative smoothly, but visually it is not consistent if you stand inside the tunnel floor or walking above it. Though in combination with a prim floor it is very usable and worth the buy.
