FYI Proudly announces the [FYI] Sewer Station X1. This building was designed after feedback from several customers who wanted a more multi-purpose set up, specifically a club. So a metal presentation stage was added with lighting focused on the stage, an area to dance, a sub area to hang out, and a door to a tunnel where you can add another room from the [FYI] Sewer System.
This mesh sewer/bukner underground station comes with two versions, a skybox version which can be used by itself and a version compatible with the [FYI] Sewer System. So, whether you're an experienced builder looking to make an elaborate underground sewer or bunker station or system, a beginner builder looking to get their first taste of a builder's kit, or someone just looking for an easy to use skybox, this building is for you!
This sewer bunker station was baked with our exclusive high end baking server, enjoy the texture quality and detail that can be brought to you by FYI's high end computer.
It requires roughly 44m x 56m of land. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to message me!
You can find the in world demo in the FYI store, simply go to the Sewer System vendor and scroll through the pages until you find it.

A lot of hard work and artistic skill, but no optimization.
First, I have to say, the creator of this and the accompanying set, is extremely skilled in many ways. The texture work looks top notch. The layout is fantastic. You can tell they spent many hard hours working on this.
Unfortunately, you can also tell they put no thought whatsoever into optimization. My framerates plummet when I rez this skybox. I have a 4GB GeForce 960, a very decent video card. I'm used to running SL at 50+fps, but when I rez this skybox my framerate drops to the teens.
Every surface seems to have it's own unique 1024x1024 texture. Polygons are poured into details that would actually have looked better using materials instead of geometry, the build uses prims but doesn't take advantage of the fact that setting the physics of those prims to "convex hull" or "none" would cut their LI cost in half.
With a bit of work, I was able to get the land impact down to about 300LI, but to make this useful I'm going to have to spend a lot of time and a lot of money creating and uploading new textures.
Other than the lack of materials, this environment would be fine for a pre-rendered animation, but for realtime environments like SL or any videogame? It's a framerate killer and a bandwidth hog. And it could be optimized without any loss to the visuals.
To the creator I say, you do amazing work, but study up on optimization and make that your focus. SL can actually run fantastic at high graphic settings, even on mid range videocards, when creators optimize their content.
