I'm proud to present my new mesh tunnel and cavern building system. Great for fantasy role play, medieval environments, or anyone who needs a cavern system! After reading the reviews of my last system, I made this one easy to build with. You can just push the ends together for a clean join.
It fully utilizes the new SL material system, with normal and specular maps. There's also very little texture load as all pieces use the same map.
The system comprises of 18 tunnels, 8 caverns, lockable doors with access control, sound emitters, particle emitters. Also included are accessory shapes and darkness alpha plates to decorate your cavern system. Finally there's a pack of simple ground planes for covering the roof.
All the models are menu driven for re-sizing and texture changing. I've also included a delete scripts function.
Prim counts vary from 4 for the smallest tunnels up to 37 for the largest 30 meter cavern. As with all mesh objects, increasing size will increase land impact.
Models are copy/mod/no transfer

Easy to use again..Building sim is new to me and so is making 'caves' but honestly it went smoothly with this PLUS it looks awesome. Many choices in what kind of tunnel, the textures can be changed and lots of details again to add..

Beautiful Cave kit
One of the best things I bought in SL. I really love this cave system. & happy with the sounds it came with. I kind forgot that it comes with the set. Stone Doors really add a lot of charm to the caves when there added. I am really looking forward to what the maker will come up with next.
Best money I ever spent!
This cave system is amazing! It feels so real and I actually think I'm in a cave, especially with the sounds and features. Customer service is A +. I was having a problem with one of the tunnels and the owner himself came to my sim and corrected the problem within hours. This is the best money I ever spent and I will continue to buy things from Cube Republic. Nice, nice people and very caring about their customers. Thank you Cube Republic!

Awesome looking and userfriendly caves!
Where the last Cave kit from this store lacked this new Cave kit has gained. It is more than easy to make the various tunnels and caves connect perfectly without visible gaps due to the overlapping (without flickering textures mind you) mesh where they meet.
Both the tunnels and caves got a great feel to them and with the many different parts, including the extra bits and pieces such as rocks, sound orbs etc. you can make some very rich and fun caves to explore. Personally I find the default size perfect. Not too small so you can't walk in them or get clustrophobic with a bumpy camera as added bonus but not too big either. Like things should be they are copy-mod so you can scale your build (once finished) but every part also come with a resizer script along with the texture changer scipts. A very nice service indeed! (remember to delete those to cut down lag).
All in all I got nothing but high praises for this kit. And don't forget to pick up the glow worm addon either. It is so worth it. 5 shining stars from a hard-core cave fan :-)
