This is a very powerful drawing of what is called the 1000 yard stare it depicts the true facial expression of a soldier who has been through hell and back
To often we tend to forget that while we carry on with our ordinary rushed life enjoying the freedom of being able to live without being oppressed that somewhere out there is a soldier like the one in the drawing that is willing to give his life to ensure that us strangers he has never met carry on enjoying that freedom
