1970 Marino Mainland Cruiser

Have you ever felt like hitting the open road, with the wind in your hair, no destination in mind?

Great!

Now, try it with a car instead of walking.

This fancy metal box on wheels is the MC Marino convertible, brought to you straight from the 1970's...when American cars were large, and the price of gas was relatively cheap. Fortunately for you, this one runs on magic internet fuel...no emissions, and nothing to pay at the pump.

This jubilant joyrider will seat you, the illustrious owner of this vehicle, and up to three of your friends. Or three total strangers, if you're into ridesharing. Or just picking up strangers. You shouldn't do that, maybe. I don't know.

This shining example of vehicular entertainment is built on the same script system as my other mainland builds, originally created by Animats. This means that in addition to being a smooth, enjoyable drive, it will also handle or eliminate most of the difficulties that typically come along with mainland driving.

Unlike my other builds, THIS one is a little more refined, with more of the features you'd come to expect in an SL car, such as:

-Doors that open AND close!

-Colors! Lots of them! Just click the car and pick one. Hurry up, we don't have all day.

-Working headlights! Drive at night AND see where you're going, because safety!

-In addition to being able to drive both forward and backward, you can also turn left and right at no additional cost!

-Five "gears", which are really just ways for you to select how fast you want to drive. Speeds go from "We should get there eventually" all the way to "I'm sorry I crashed into your house".

As an added bonus, and per his request, the core scripts created by Animats are included with this vehicle in full permission form at no extra cost. If you're a vehicle builder, these are great to use for mainland builds thanks to their overall reliability.

This vehicle will also receive continuing support for as long as I'm in SL - if you have any problems or questions, just send me a notecard. Any future updates to the car, either for features or fixes, will be sent to the owners when available.

Permissions - The vehicle itself is copy/mod, but the scripts inside the car are copy only.
