2 LI group of 4 Poplar trees - OPQ 4 Poplars 03 LT01-02
+ 2 Land impact
+ 9.7 m (reziseable)
+ Class CDE (Volume and background plants)
+ LoD resistant
+ Very low lag
Four trees in a single mesh. They may not be detailed enough to work as upfront feature trees but with their low land impact and lag they are perfect as filler trees for your grove or forest and as background vegetation.
The trees are fairly small by default but can be resized either manually or with the included MBAGR object resizer. The land impact will increase a bit if you scale them up but stays at only 3 LI even at twice size and 4 LI at three times the default.

-+- What's so special about OPQ plants? -+-
In one word: optimization. No matter how powerful our computers are, we always want to push them to the limits adding more details to our virtual realities. OPQ offers a wide range of plants from the simplest "crossed panels" background ones to elaborate upfront features but they're all designed to give the maximum amount of detail with the lowest possible load on your copmuter. And they are all made with perfect LoD, meaning they look good even at extreme view distances – with OPQ meshes there is no need to lag down your experience with the infamous LoD factor. Nobody else does mesh optimization as well as OPQ, nobody is even close. So if you're feeling laggy or if you want to fill up your land with *lots* of vegetation, OPQ is the answer.

-+- Black poplar (Populus nigra) -+-
The black poplar is perhaps best known as the cultivated lombardic variant with a canopy so narrow the branches are almost flush to the trunk. Wild poplar are wider although like their close relatives the aspen and the birch, they don't usually gain a very wide girth and preferp to expand upwards. A black poplar can reach 40 m height, although 20-30 m is more common.
The black poplar is common throughout most of continental Europe and also across central and wester Asia and northern Africa.
