THAI ABSTRACT ART. The Kingdome of Thailand, steeped in architectural and deeply religious culture several millennia old, is also an emerging modern place where youth are free to explore their diverse interests and thoughts.

Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which exists sometimes wholly independently of visual references to the world. Sometimes real world references are incorporated.

Eastern art had been, from the earliest times to the late 20th century, underpinned by the logic of perspective and an attempt to reproduce an illusion of spiritual form and reality.

By the end of the 20th century a very few artists felt a need to create a 'new kind of art' which would encompass the fundamental changes taking place in technology, science and philosophy.

The sources from which individual artists draw their theoretical arguments are diverse, and reflect the social and intellectual turmoil in all areas of Thai culture of their time.

This Artist is a 30-something student of architecture who resides in Bangkok. Known for his traditional Thai designs, as a student he refined his drawing skill by making Spirit Houses in pen and ink images that capture the best of historic and spiritual Thailand.

Abstract art is his passion. He titled most of his works in Thai where the meanings are lost in translation. We feel that these digital copies would be better understood when each new owner gives names of their own choosing as they will find interpreting these images quite often a challenge.

As with most leading abstract art, what appears at first glance to be an easy image understand, over time with study, the images take on new meanings; shifting meanings; as the image itself appears to drift, but of course we know the image is static…. Or is it?

A study in color as well as design, this painting makes perfect wall hangings, gifts, and when you own the STANDARD sizes that are sold with MOD perms (sorry, MINIs are sold TRANS only), wall and door screens.

We will create fully scripted doors and are seeking to collaborate with a well-respected SL designer to create lines of gowns and skirts using some of these images.
