retro and useful!
exactly as described, also well scripted and efficient.
it's not really only 'advanced' uses that can add more segments, the steps are quite direct if you know basic editing. this banner is a little primmy for rezzing out, but when worn it doesn't cause any significant server load, so just copy and wear more segments if you must display more, just take them off again when you don't!
all the symbols needed for displaying code included and perfectly readable. this makes it possible to wear lsl! perfect for showing syntax to a class without them cheating. the only keyboard symbols it doesn't support are the british pound "£", the back tick "`" and that other weird thing i've never known of a use for "¬".
clicking the hud for the menu gives simple access to the tinting and other features. text to display can be entered through the menu too. the 'all off' button does the same as setting text to spaces, but the 'all on' is perfect for showing the whole thing if you intend to move or resize the segments.
i also enjoy the styling, the gradient options bring back to early home computing era and arcade themes. thankyou dima lednev for a stylish gizmo, useful all over sl.
