This is a rigged bento tail, with an articulated tail tip attachment point, and an unrigged mesh head (with movable parts), to give you a classical chimera tail.
The head animates with the tail-body, and is scripted to be able to open its mouth, flick its tongue, blink its eyelids. Oh, and it can talk. And hiss!
As a bonus, there are two flexi tail tips (one with the diamondback rattle). The Action HUD will let you rattle your tail. (Even if you have your head attached. Who am I to say your snake brains don't rattle?)

NOTE: make sure you are purchasing the size you wanted: 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 1/2, or 1/4. Or get the All The Tails box!

** COMPATABILITY **
  1:  If you have a rigged avatar that has its own tail, that rig may override the CST rig.
  2:   If your rigged avatar uses animations with keyframed locations, it may distort the CST.
IF THIS HAPPENS: switch to the AO_Quad, which uses a bone lock animation (or edit the default to set the ST-URD* animation as the Background). Click and hold on the invisible sphere at the base of the tail to get the menu to Load an AO.
Each tail also comes with a "fix" gesture, to reset its bone positions.
If this does not solve your issues, I'm afraid there's nothing more I can do.

THIS IS NOT FOR ANIMESH. 
   The head will NOT work with animesh.  All you will get is a stumpy-ended tail.  (If that's what you want, then okay, I guess. ;) )

Note: It has been brought to my attention that snakes DON'T BLINK! (whoops... i must been thinking about frogs... ::ahem!::)
You can fix this easily with any of the following methods:
1: edit the head(s), go into the 'eyelid' link, and delete the script therein.  (yes, it's full perms, it's fine.)
     --OR--
2: make the 'eyelid' link 100% transparent.
     --OR--
3: throw the head(s) on the ground and unlink the eyelids altogether.

Also!  If you want different eyes, or eyes facing a different direction, you can replace the mesh eyes with... well, anything.  Spheres if you want.  Baked eyes.  Googly eyes....
