This grass textures pack gives you everything you need to create a realistic grass for your build.
Unlike other grass textures in Second Life, this texture set was created using 3D software to give the maximum realism. Every blade of grass was modelled individually and then randomly positioned to give a realistic look.
The colors are consistent across the texture which ensures no noticeable pattern repetition, even if stretched over an entire sim.
Use the new "Advanced Lighting Model" viewer feature to create a stunning effect. To show these textures off to their best remember to add some nearby prim light sources!
FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH TERRAIN TEXTURING

All textures are 1024px resolution 24-bit .tga files and are fully compatible with terrain texturing, or applying to prim surfaces.

Additionally, the textures in this pack are compatible with the new "Advanced Lighting Model" feature in Second Life viewers. This allows for the creation of more realistic texture surfaces that respond like materials to lighting!
To see this texture at its best potential you'll need a recent viewer and you will need to enable the "advanced lighting model" under your preferences.
This option is enabled automatically for avatars with their graphics set to "High" or "Ultra". Avatars who do not enable this will see the standard textures only.

I really hate doing this...
...as I'm such a big, BIG fan of this company. They make INCREDIBLE textures and I've loved every other single product I've ever bought from them (which is NUMEROUS).
This however, admittedly, I can not possibly use.
There's something about the style of the grass that just SCREAMS plastic / astro-terf.
Meaning that this texture really does not fit in AT-ALL with "natural" textures (like trees, rocks, and so on) without sticking out like a sore thumb.
If however, you intend to use this as a pseudo-fake "grass", such as a scifi environment where there isn't really any natural vegetation and such for it to blend in with, this texture will probably do fine.
Creator; I ~LOVE~ your stuff, and it genuinely PAINS me to leave this review. If you update the product or otherwise, I'll be HAPPY to remove & revise this review in it's entirety!
