An extension of my original Flickering Light script (See related items, below), this script allows you to create full-perm flickering scripts with the settings you specify, for use in your own products.
The script allows you to customize a random (or stable, if desired) flickering effect in a prim, allowing you full use of the Fullbright, Glow, and Light settings to create the visual effect you want.
You can even play a sound when the light is 'on'! (Simply provide the sound UUID, instructions included)
Additionally, the script allows you easy and powerful customization options for the timing of the flickering, allowing you to make it fast, slow, random and chaotic, timed and predictable, or almost completely stable except for a flicker once in a blue moon, if desired.
The script is great for any light source that needs to turn on and off at timed intervals, whether those intervals be random or predictable. Broken neon signs, blinking signs, spooky effects, eyes in the dark, sci-fi equipment and lightning are all fun examples of how to use the script :)

AMAZING Generator!
This script generator was one of the best purchases I could have made in SL! And no, that is NOT an exaggeration. The scripts inside the package are no mod/no copy/no trans. BUT the point of the package is to allow you to customize your own flicker script and once you're finished, the code is generated and all you have to do is copy/paste into your own, full perm script. It makes customizing/writing your own flicker scripts a piece of cake! For me, lines in a script look like miles and miles of gobbledy-gook. But this script generator allows me to easily understand what the script is going to do when it's done and the preview/playback feature.
The inclusion of a looped sound ability really makes the script worth it! You can use a sound in your script and it plays in time with the flicker effect. If it's the low hum of a pulsing neon sign or the insistent clicking of a light with a short, the result is only too cool!
The customer service is also fantastic! The creator is an amazingly talented person who very patiently takes the time to explain things to me (in terms my pea brain can understand) when I need help. I can't say enough good things about 4Kittens and their great products!
