Very Nice Textures
I found these textures to be very nice detail and colors. I modified one to be darker and for some reason the normal map was making the tile grout look like it was not indented so I generated my own normal and specularity and result was perfect. Can recommend. Everything tiles well.
Superb
I suspect the previous, negative reviewer did not understand how these textures work. It sounds as if she has made separate tiles and then tried to line them all up. Imagine the land impact! (I apologize if this is a misinterpretation on my part.) But these tiles can be stretched seamlessly and the result is exactly what you see in the sample pictures. On the build tab, I rezzed the usual wooden cube then, with the stretch texture check box checked, increased the size of the cube fourfold from .5 to 2. I then used the stretch facility to flatten the cube to a tile. After that, I loaded the texture I wanted - as it happens, the square frame with diagonal interior as pictured here. I then selected the stretch function again and, of course, UNCHECKED the stretch texture check box. I then stretched this simple build to cover my entire floor space. I can assure you that it tiles seamlessly. Sorry to spell this out so laboriously. I am no builder. All I can do is create and texture the simplest of walls and floors. However, I hope that the previous reviewer sees this and is able to benefit from it. Needless to say, I also want to correct the false impression given by her review.
Utterly useless
Even though it comes with bordered tiles, it is impossible to make a square with this set. The corner tiles don't line up when you rotate them. So while, yes, you can make a straight line with a border, you can't even make a straight line that has a return at both ends because one end won't align with the rest of the tiles. In the end, the utility of these tiles is highly limited and the corner textures are utterly useless. As such, it does not do what it implies and is useless for the reason I bought this product, which was to make a bordered square of terra-cotta tiles. Not to mention, it doesn't come with an un-bordered diagonal tile and, even if you rotate the square un-bordered tiles it doesn't line up with the diagonals. This is the most pointless set of textures I have ever seen. At least it was cheap.
