ON SALE BECAUSE THIS IS AN OLD **SCULPTED** CAR, NOT MESH !!!
( It's still a decent looking car and it performs well; this is a perfect 'cheap' entry car if you're interested in joining the D2 scene to learn how to drift in SL. )
Inspired by one of the fastest twin-turbo street-legal cars on the planet, this thoroughbred Japanese muscle machine will turn heads as well as track times. The bottom line of Eightland Racing (formerly FIZIX) is to deliver high quality at a low price, and whether you've driven a D2 before or not, you can expect a superior driving experience for your investment.
Designed with a lightweight, RP-ready 32 prim sculpted chassis, the ELR Touyou Superior was built for driving. It's backed by the low-lag, realistic D2-Spec 0.5 script, made famous by its RPM-based engine, drift/grip characteristics, and keyboard/mouse steering modes.

All I can say is....
Thank you for everything, Eight Blinker. Your 'd2' driving script has provided me with endless joy and excitement. It's something I got to be proud of and always feel good about. It's been 6 years now, right? Since I first got my hands on your Soramoyo. I had driven an 86 from you when I was 12 (8 years ago) but I had no idea what it was or what it would become as your script progressed through SL as we all did. I still remember driving texture cars, but even more so, when we would all get shells from talin sands and do all this super cool stuff before people started playing with mesh and stealing from games. Everything was so awesome back then, even if I acted like a little turd. So thank you Eight. And thank you to all the others who I've met in d2 who shared love for the same thing I did.
Jestix will live on forever in our memories

Absolute great starter D2 Car!
This car is sculpt but that does not mean its bad quality. Its incredibly well done! It drives well for the avg driver but you will have to tune it up to get it runnin like others around the scene. TBH all it needs is a good skid plate and some scripting. Turbo if you like.
Can't believe its only L$50.. Mucho apreciado!!
Proof that sculpties are still amazing.
Eight Blinker, the developer of D2, is one of those guys who likes sculpts and prims. Now, I know what you're thinking. "That's so... ancient!" Well, here to prove you wrong is the Touyou Superior.
And yes, if this was a matter of looks, it would be Superior to many mesh cars out there. It's sculpted, but there are those who choose to take full advantage of the parts and those who don't. Eight took full advantage, and the car is beautiful, inside and outside, albeit a little simple (but that's okay, sculpt does have a limited scope at times).
Have you ever driven a D2 car before? If you've answered "no", then I suggest you try before buying. There are a couple free D2 cars out there, but it's a love-hate relationship. I happen to love the system, so forgive me for being biased; it's one of the most fun driver's cars that can be had in SL. It's one of those systems developed by drivers, for drivers. And that's what makes it an awesome system.
The features built into the cars are mostly dynamics-based. Unlike other cars (including mine) that emphasize customization, D2 cars emphasize dynamics. This is a strong point, as not many cars do. Most of us just give looks a bias and forget entirely that the car is still meant for driving. That's why, I think, that adding the type of dynamics tuning available in this car, is a very smart move, especially for a vehicle meant to outperform others on twisting roads.
This is a well-built car. It's a sculpted car that's virtually seamless, it drives like a dream, and it's kept well within its 32-prim physics limit (other cars tend to go higher, even up to 300). There's no reason not to buy one, especially for those of you who are curious of the difference between a normal car and a race car.
