ARS AVETE TEXTURES
These high quality textures are made by Lef Leven, who has created ancient Roman buildings, art and textures for years and offered them for sale to the SL Community. His real life had become too busy to maintain the in-world shop and update and service his creations. He has made many textures throughout the years and many residents have asked him if he could offer them for sale again. So here they are again (only on SL Marketplace). Many textures have never been on sale before.

The textures are created from - or inspired by - photos and drawings of Roman walls, frescos, art and architecture.
Most textures are seamless. This is indicated by the letter(s) at the end of the texture file name.

H = texture is horizontally seamless
HV = texture is horizontally and vertically seamless

CONDITIONS OF USE
Use of the textures from Ars Avete is only allowed under the following conditions:
- Textures purchased by Linden Dollars and delivered within the virtual world of Second Life are licensed for use within Second Life only.
- You may sell and transfer anything you create using textures from Ars Avete. You may sell anything you create using the content but not the content in its original format. For example, you may not redistribute textures “as” texture files.
- You may save Ars Avete textures to one computer in order to modify/edit for personal and commercial content creations within the Second Life environment. This includes building and prim/mesh/model creation. You may also sell anything you create using the modified textures but not the modified content in its native format. Example: You may not redistribute modified/edited textures “as” textures.

YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO:
- You cannot distribute, sell, giveaway, or share content from Ars Avete, in or outside of Secondlife.com.
- This includes: in-world stores (from any online platform) in-world vendors, 3rd party websites and platforms, burning to CD or DVDs, sharing on your own blog/website, third party websites, torrent or P2P websites, sharing with group members, friends or customers, sharing in "Texture Sharing Groups" within secondlife.com and other third party platforms.
- You cannot export or extract content out of Secondlife.com as texture files (or applied to pre made builds/meshes) using applications such as SecondInventory or other "texture exporting software”. You cannot save to your computer to modify to any degree with the sole intention of reselling or redistributing the textures. You’re not allowed to modify our artwork for distribution purposes alone.

COPYRIGHT VIOLATION
Breaching a persons copyright is considered to also be in breach of the secondlife.com Terms of Service. This means, any act of copyright violation, when reported to Linden Labs, may result in your secondlife.com account being suspended and/or banned.
