*AD* Contest System - [COPY]

Thank you for you interest in my product !

Our contest system uses notecards to store information so it wont be lost due to board resets.
It also uses simple chat line commands for setting up and operating contests. Boards can be set to seperate channels for running multiple contests.

CONTEST SYSTEM BOARDS:
------------------------------

1. Main Contest Board - 1Prim - can be used alone or with any combination of the add on boards.

2. Contestant Board - 23 Prim - Lists Name of contest, amount in pot, and Lists 5 contestants per page with forward and back arrows for seeing who else is entered intot the contest.

3. Previous Winners Board - 19 Prim - Lists the last 5 contest winners. top line of text can be changed via the configuration notecard.

4. Wall Of Fame - 8 Prim - Displays the TOP contest winner, Their picture, Name, and how much they won.

Pay-To-Play, and Free Play modes

Banned List - for stopping people from being able to enter contest

Manager List - for adding people to be able to control the contests

Unlimited entrants and voters

Resizable - all boards can be resized

Can be setup to either automatically take lindens from the owners account when contest starts, Or the person setting the board up can pay the board to start the contest.

Custom text can be set on add on boards

Option to email owner list of winners

Color Change via Color Change HUD

SETUP:
-------
Rez out the contest board onto the ground. Edit and go into the contents tab, in there you will see the configuration notecard. The boards will run with the pre-configured default values however you can customize them to make more suitable for your club environment. Should you change any values, save the notecard.

A Color Change HUD is included for easily changing the main color, Or the text color. Simply wear the HUD and select a new color from the options.

STARTING A NEW CONTEST
----------------------------

By default the boards are listening on channel 41 (ex: /41 new BEST IN BLACK ). If you purchased more than 1 contest board, you can change the 41 to another number in the boards description fields to make them operate seperatly.

When no contest is active,say :

/xx New <Names of Contest> - Starts a new contest.

/xx time < Time In Minutes > - This is where you tell the board how long the event will last. Set the time in minutes. ( example: 60 = 1 hour, 120 = 2 hours, 180 = 3 hours... etc...

/xx < Mode Of Play > - Here you will use single, top3, or everyone.

/xx mode <group/all> - Here you set weather people have to be in the group to play or everyone can play.

/xx start - This starts the contest where people can begin entering.

pay the board -Pay in some money to the board,( if the configuration notecard is set for the owner of the board to automatically pay this is when the amount set will be added. ) Anyone may pay additional money to the board after the contest has started to increase the prize amount.

CONTEST MODES OF PLAY
---------------------------

/xx everyone - This puts the contest board into 'PARTY' mode. In this mode the prize fund is divided up equally over the total number of votes cast. So the more votes someone get the bigger the portion of the prize fund they win. This is a fantastic mode to intice new people into contests as even with 1 vote received a prize will be payed out.

/xx top3 - Changed the game mode of the contest to normal mode where the winner will be the 1,2 and 3rd people with the most votes

/xx single - Changed the game mode of the contest to single mode where the winner will be the 1person with the most votes

CONTROLING A CONTEST THAT IS OPEN
-----------------------------------------

When a contest is running, anyone can right click and pay to place more money into the contest.

/xx delete <Name of Avatar> - Removes a person from the contest board (name is case sensitive) ACTIVE STAFF, PEOPLE NO LONGER HERE, ETC.... WILL BE REMOVED USING THIS COMMAND FROM THE BOARD.

/xx clear - Terminates a contest, all monies go back to whoever put in the prize fund **THIS ERASES THE CONTEST SO YOU CAN START OVER**

/xx vote - This will begin the voting early.

ENDING A CONTEST - ( DO NOT do this unless you have to end the contest early. )

/xx end - Counts votes and pays the winner; board will auto clear and reset.
