I know it's bad practice to review a demo, but...
There is nothing wrong with the demo, mind you!
It includes two different choices, exactly as announced, to try them out. I have no expertise to tell if these are anatomically correct or not, but they looked fine to my untrained eye. They're basic, rigged mesh avatars, they look great, they respond well to my AO, you can add many rigged items (such as hair!) and it will work as expected. There is no HUD (and no need for one). I will fit either a male or a female avatar, but it's a *male* skeleton. Nevertheless, for a basic product, it's well done, well textured, and rather detailed.
Ultimately, however, I went with a competing product. Why? Well, with this item, you get only three different skeleton avatars, each in a different colour. If you need a wider choice of colours/textures, you have to buy another pack. It starts getting expensive very quickly, unless you get the fatpack edition, which costs L$100 but gives you a HUD with a choice of 12 colours.
Well, shopping around for a bit, you can get a similar product (also basic, also rigged mesh) with a colour-changing HUD — for half the price. Its textures are even better!
So, I'm afraid that, as it stands, for a basic product, this one is overpriced, especially the one with the HUD, which would be a fairer comparison (since it has more than three colours).
Perhaps future versions may include some extra details to make it worth the additional price — who knows? There is a wide gap between these basic edition avatars and the deluxe models, which can cost an order of magnitude more, but they have extra goodies such as the ability to make sections of the skeleton invisible (like on the "normal" mesh avatar systems, e.g. Maitreya) to fit clothes better, and sometimes even throw in some UV maps to allow customisation by anyone familiar enough with Photoshop or Krita. But... for all that, you pay premium, and for a good reason. Here we're talking about a basic, entry-level avatar — great for Halloween!
