ASCII TEXT CONVERTER With 15 presets, possibility to create your own alphabets Version 1.0

*** THE ASCII TEXT CONVERTER ALLOWS YOU TO BEAUTIFY ANY TEXT IN SECONDS, POSSIBILITY TO CREATE YOUR OWN STYLES (15 PRESETS) ***

In order to use the ASCII text Converter by Tincan, it is advisable to rez it in a parcel that allows scripts.

Once rezzed, the ASCII converter will load into memory embedded notecards (a notecard by alphabet), during this time the hovering text will show "Loading ...". This loading will last about 3 seconds for the 15 notecards provided of origin.

When the device is ready, it will show the number of loaded alphabets. It is then possible for you to use it. For this you need to click on it. An overview of the alphabet selected and a menu will appear, this menu offer you 3 possibilities:

- [OPTIONS]: Set the permissions of the object: [OWNER], [GROUP] or [EVERYONE]. By default the ASCII converter is set to EVERYONE, meaning that anyone can use it by clicking on it (the Options menu, however, is reserved for the owner). A [RELOAD] button is also available, it reloads notecards in memory.

- [STYLE]: This menu allows you to choose the style of writing you want to use to convert your text. The ASCII converter offers styles notecards previously loaded into it. Select the style that suits you.

- [CONVERT]: By clicking convert, a textbox will appear asking you to enter the text to convert. Enter your text (line breaks allowed) and then click the "Submit" button. The ASCII converter will turn your text according to the selected style and write in the local chat.

*** CREATE YOUR OWN STYLE: ***

The ASCII Converter lets you easily create your own styles of alphabets. To do this, create a new notecard and write 3 lines: the alphabet from A to Z in upper case, the alphabet from a to z in lower case and the numbers from 0 to 9, this in the following way:

Save the notecard in your inventory by naming the name you like (up to 20 characters), right-click / edit the ASCII converter, then drag the notecard previously created into the content tab of the Edit window. The object will automatically load the new notecard.

On error, the ASCII converter will show you in hovering text the name of the problematic notecard.

Your new notecard will be available from the [STYLE] menu of the device.
