Move over Space Mountain, the Astro-Star Galactic Coaster is here! This attraction is a 40 meters long by 30 meters wide indoor space-themed roller coaster that takes passengers on an out-of-this-world adventure in Second Life!
This exciting and immersive 2-seater ride is packed with fast-paced action, multiple loopings, and acceleration through galaxies, past planets, through black holes, and accompanied with themed music.
The ASTRO-STAR Galactic Roller-coaster is a joint Project between the talented owners of two Second Life businesses: Lumyai (of 'Planet Lumyai') and Torgon Woodjet (of 'Torgon's'). More details on them at the bottom of this nc.
This Space-themed ride had some inspiration from the classic Disneyland attraction, but it stands unique and on its own with its own track layout and interstellar scenery and effects! It has been designed with practicality in mind for operation in Second Life. We kept the dimensions 30 by 40 meters in order to save space, yet pack it with all the visual and audio effects you would expect in an exciting fast-paced space-themed ride!
