The Advanced Tactical Operating System is a new combat ecosystem that has grown out of our company's efforts to integrate more sophisticated damage effects with robots. To complete the experience, we're releasing this standalone version of ATOS, called ATOS Health, which is meant for use by humans and other organics.

ATOS/H comes in the form of a simple, compact HUD that reports your health and stamina, as well as a titler that allows everyone around you to see your health bar and a custom mood message. Status effects, like exhaustion, overheating, and drowning, will appear automatically above the HUD.

By clicking on the HUD, you can access a more detailed report of the current environmental conditions, enter OOC mode, or change the mood message at any time.

To remove the HUD, click on it, and then select the 'shut down' button, or enter OOC mode. While the HUD is in OOC mode, it's also unlocked for editing, allowing you to adjust the configuration files inside, such as changing the voice preset. For example, to switch to a male voice, edit the _pneuma-config file inside and rewrite the "voice vp_sayaad" line to read "voice vp_claymore". The configuration file will automatically be reloaded when you're done changing it.

The included health pickups, Khara and Tasta, give 25 and 10 HP respectively, and respawn every 25 seconds. Each is 3 LI. These are no-mod.

If you have a robot avatar using one of our main controllers already, then you don't need ATOS/H; it will conflict with the controller's RLV features. See http://support.nanite-systems.com/?id=285 for more information on the different flavors of ATOS and getting the one that's right for you.
