Going to play the bass at night again? Planning to do some crystal clear voice records? Let me help you handle the neighbours. Or improve the sound quality. Acoustic foam Panels to the rescue!
They are delivered with a size of 1sqm each, 10*10 pyramids on them. The pyramids are actually modeled, not just a texture. You can resize the panels or simply put several next to each other. Cover just parts of your wall. Or the entire wall.
Thanks to mesh, these panels have an actual Land Impact of just 0.5 (each shows as LI1, but once you linked two of them, they are still 1. Link 4 of them, and they have a LI of 2 and so on). The LOD (Level of Detail - how an objects looks at a distance) is very nice: the pyramids will flatten at a certain distance, but thanks to the texture, you will hardly notice.
Keep in mind that increasing the size of a mesh object will - at some point - also increase its Land Impact.
What else is there to say? Oh yeah. First, they come in three texture flavors: light grey, dark grey, black. You can tint the light grey version to have a red one, for example. Second, they are supposed to be placed on a wall, therefore they've got no backside. They are transparent (so to speak) from the backside. That's intentional. Noone likes hidden faces anyway.

Top Class
This is pretty much what I needed to complete the look in my music room. Being mesh, it's low prim, copy and mod, what more can you ask for. I highly recommend this for a realistic look to any studio, looks the part.
