Adam Mesh body

Men's mesh bodies-- nothing to write home about. All have flaws.This one's are--
1) the rigging flattens out like bent macaroni sometimes at the elbows and knees in a way I haven't seen since the first mesh clothing was introduced.
2) Has that weird, nipples turned out to the armpits tendency, which-- don't know where anyone got this as a thing to do, it's not how anyone I know looks. I guess it's supposed to make your chest look more massive.
3) While there are 22 skin presets in the HUD, only 11 come with a neck blender tattoo. I got no response to my query about this to the maker and ended up buying a tintable one from Marketplace that while not 100% ideal does vastly improve the gradient from skin to mesh-- I think it would be great if the Adam maker would include a tintable tattoo that has a nice long fade in the gradient up the back of the neck and onto the head, since that's where it looks most "off" with short hair.
4) The fitmesh does not adjust in the crotch and there's no genitalia included. But most Omega appliers you'll find for the Adam are shown on the competing mesh body that includes a penis for a reason. So applier underwear and swimwear are practically useless on the Adam. It would be nice if the maker would rig a bigger selection of undergarments/swimwear to go with the Adam given the way garments rigged for the standard av don't fit the Adam hips. Unrigged mesh is also very hard to fit to this mesh due to the Adam definition around the hip that the standard avatar lacks.
The main use for a mesh body is to look attractive while wearing minimal clothing--as a sometime dancer in SL, I bought this mostly to wear on stage, as well as to give my gf a visual upgrade. The lack of undergarments, shorts, swim trunks, thongs, g-strings, as well as the noodle rigging in the limbs are big detriments to usefulness. That said, my gf likes it. It's certainly an improvement on the standard avatar. Price is very competitive given all that's included.

Got it and tried it with my Tyler skins and none fit the coloration with it at all 1 star from me not impressed with it at all this is worse then slink and tmp I'm sticking with aesthetic

I honestly cant find reason to not give this five stars. The few faults it has are the same faults many other mesh bodies suffer from, and that is largely micro gaps in the seems of the alpha layering. I find this body to be superior to both Slink and Mesh Project for a number of reasons.

PROS:
The Adam body has an excessive number of alpha layers, almost three times that of it's competitors. The ability to save 50 different alpha states on top of that puts it above both the other two big mesh bodies.

Applier scripts are the open source for anyone, though a tad bit overly complicated for any one looking to just apply their own skins. Regardless, even having the option available gives this body an star all on it's one.

The body includes hands and feet as part of the mesh, and the hands comes with 8 different poses that can be applied individually or to both

Included neck blends that come in six different sizes to fit almost seamlessly with any sized avatar

While I don't use them personally, the body comes included with a series of 22 different skins, each one also coming with it's own body hair variation. Though well textured these are really only of any use if you also own the head and don't already have a favored skin.

The body comes with a set of well made mesh clothing to get you looking snazzy right out the box

CONs:
My only real gripe is with the shape of the mesh itself. While not at all a deal breaker and not at all worth affecting the score I give it, the mesh its self is a heavily toned body, slightly disproportionate from the base SL avatar, meaning any skin you apply your self that isn't specifically tailored made will end up looking just a tad stretched in some areas.

So I love this look and Its my main mesh body. The problem is a lot of the time I'm having issues where to me things look fine, but to others they don't see my arms or something.
From my screen, its perfect. but from others, there are rez issues that are only fixed by my relogging.
The HUD also sometimes loses sync with what I can see, for example if I turn the hands off, I can still see them. So between the HUD, my visual and the visual of others, there is a significant desync somewhere here.

Looks and application is easy and good however. Just needs these bugs ironed out.

I'm happy to report my Alpha issue has been successfully resolved. Kudos on the repairs. As a result I've change the rating value to 4 stars. The only other bug I'm aware of (which has not been reported to the designer yet) is that if the HUD is left on it sometimes fails to respond requiring an re-log. I have no doubt that when I take the time to bring this to their attention it will be resolved. Having said that this is a pretty good offering and I feel comfortable recommending this product.

So lets start with the pros! Extremely happy with my purchase. I would say that its worth every L$. The body sculpt is amazing, as well as the HUD. From what I see it is very customize-able as is with its selection of preset skins. Also the 50 available alpha presets is awesome!

Now here come the cons... I know that this particular body is fairly new still so I wont dock it hard. Although this body has an omega relay and applier for it, it still isn't perfect for modding the skin. Without a dummy body or something to help edit skin textures in real time, it is very tough to get the skins just right. As for rigged mesh clothes that are specific to adam, there isn't a real big selection yet. (I expect that to change as time progresses and the body becomes more popular.)

Overall I am very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone that wants a great fresh look for their avatar! As for the cons. I assume steps are being taken to help mitigate them. So until this body gains some more traction and some of the issues are adressed. I'll have to give this a 4 out of 5.
