One of the many aircraft i modded to be used in Second Life and are being shared, free, in world.
Tried to make the less possible laggy aircraft using a script that makes it the most realistic in flying.
Does not have realistic working flaps or rudders nor working instruments but i do hope it crosses sims and allows for one to make some aerobatics without issues.
Read the note card for commands even if they are straight forward, start in local starts the engine, stop stops it.
pgup increases throttle , pgdn decreases it.
to go up back arrow key, to go down, fwd arrow key
to bank left or right left and right arrow keys.
IMPORTANT, to take off increase speed up to 70 pct before pressing back arrow key to lift the nose.
While flying do not go under 60pct throttle as it will stall.
To do loops or any other aerobatics, make sure you use at least 9o pct throttle.
Final note, even if i did tried to make it the less laggy as possible; one can still loose the camera angle while flying in 3th person after a cross sim.
In that case one make sure to just stop the engine, edit the plane to make it at least a bit higher then ground level (100 m at least) stand up and sit back and then start the engine again.
Hope one will enjoy it enough for using it:)
Credits to the amazing script made by Siris Vulpecula, that is the one that makes this build fly.
See item in Second Life- copy only
- pilot and 3 passengers
- open doors and presence lights
- A total of 15 diferent pieces where used on its build.
Piper 22 Pacer
This plane is really still expandable, I would say that the controls, well, there are still a few things that should be improved for the cat on the plane
But if you, as a builder, don't feel like making updates and don't have real customer support, to be honest, I would keep my hands off the build, but the controls and handling are really shit I can't really recommend the plane in this condition. For that, it has to be completely again be overhauled So hands off with it you have no joy in this condition Sorry 01 Sterne
