This elegant craft was created from the finest materials available in all of the Steamlands. The deck is made of the strongest ironwood, lovingly crafted by our master woodworkers, while the hull is made of sturdy copper, designed for years of use. Little expense was spared so that we could bring you the finest in luxury air travel.
The steam engine which drives this craft, was designed by Captain Alexis Sommerfeld herself, having found no other steam engine which met her rigorous standards. Using compressed coal pellets, and an enclosed loop, so that no water is lost, the engine is designed with power and efficiency in mind.
The vehicle is made of 100% mesh, and seats 4, plus 1 pilot.
It's a physical vehicle - no non-physical shenanigans, and has a realistic flight model. It handles just like a real airship would.
It comes with a HUD, and the steam engine and propellers are fully animated, reacting to the controls and speed of the vessel.

A great Airship, but...
Elara is very pretty. construction and texturing are superb. She is deserving of her many 6 star reviews. She is easy to fly; if you can walk, you can fly Elara.
The HUD is rudimentary, it starts and stops the engine.
What else should it do? How about show heading & speed & altitude ? Too much to ask? Perhaps but others do it very well. At this price point, I won’t quibble overmuch.

Nice Cruise Airship!
This is a really nice airship. Handles very well with the controls and the HUD is simple and perfect for it. Mesh detail and textures have nice details. The sounds are very fitting for the steampunk look. Would love to have a steam whistle on it. It holds the pilot and two benches for passengers. The front beach has a nice view, but the back bench side views are blocked. 57 LI is nice for five people vehicle. The fastest speed does well over most every crossing. Some corner crossings are just unforgiving for anything. I have three sites along Route-8 and this makes a nice flight between them, especially with the cruise style flying.
After two year still in love with my Elara
This airship handles like a dream. I have flown it over the continents, maneuvered it between buildings in New Babbage and many other sims. I absolutely recommend this airship.
The creator was quick to respond and was very helpful.
