AMBO Science’s A760 ATV

Over view

This ATV or Quad bike as you may call it is a high performance vehicle known as a HICEV (hydrogen internal combustion engine vehicle). It has automatic transmission giving it a smooth acceleration, This vehicle is easy to maneuver with easy steering at high speed and sharp turning at low speed or the ability to skid turn at a high speed by using the brakes, or "climb" over obstacles by lifting the front to gain grip and drive to push yourself over it.
Updates are free and for life it checks on rez for new versions and sends to you if found, please accept the request to send you the new update. Feel free to IM me (Dingo Nikolaidis) with any Inquiries or issues related to my products.

Statistics of the vehicle are shown below.

• Low gear top speed: 51 kph/32 mph
• High gear top speed: 140 kph/85 mph
• Maximum acceleration: 100kph in 4sec/62mph in 4sec

Commands can be given on channel 71 or the alternate channel, you can change the alternate channel by saying c: number, saying c:0 would give you channel 0 as it. The default is 0 but i would suggest changing it from public chat (0) to lower listen lag.

All other commands are exactly the same as button names in the menu the vehicle offers, and are not capital sensitive. But there are also alternative shorter commands for quick chat use for some functions, list is a follows:

Menus
• Bike menu, bm, back – opens main menu
• User options – opens user options menu
• Bike options – opens bike options menu
• Remove – deletes bike(does NOT take to inventory)
User options
• Passenger anim – changes the passengers animation to default
• Gunner anim – changes the passengers animation to take over bottom half only
• Unsit-p – unsits the passenger
• Unsit-d – unsits the driver
• Unsit-all – unsits both users
Bike options
• Help – givers the owner this this notecard
• Driver cam – changes driver camera
• Overhead cam – changes driver camera
• Default cam – changes driver camera
• Light – turns light on/off
• Reverse cam – toggles the reverse camera on/off
• High/low gear – toggles the gear speed
• Public sit – toggles the vehicles ability to allow a passenger to sit
• Public use – allows any one to drive
• Owner use – allows only the owner to drive

The Gears

The ATV has 2 gears high and low for fast and slow speeds.

Reverse camera

When the driver of the ATV backs up a camera system takes over as you reverse. You can turn this feature on or off.

The Lights

The ATV has functioning lights that light up the way in front of you. they can be turned on or off.

The HUD

The HUD shows the current speed. The HUD also has a unsit driver/passenger, menu, light and gear speed button to do like wise functions.

Controls

W: accelerates the vehicle forward
S: reverses the vehicle
A or D: turns left or right on the spit in a tight circle motion
A+W or D+W: accelerates the vehicle forward and turns it much slower left or right in a larger circle
A+S or D+S: accelerates the vehicle much slower in reverse and turns it moderate circle left or right
C: halts the vehicle making it come to a stop much faster than leaving it to slow down without
E: lifts the front end upward and also self rights the vehicle so if you crash and end upside down or on your side tap E and you will be up in no time no editing needed
W+E: accelerates forward doing a mono depending on how long you hold down E

Some notes

This vehicle is a highly detailed sculpted vehicle, second life by default lowers the quality of objects if you are viewing them from a distance this effects sculpted prims horribly depending on how they are made. A quick way to disable this is to open advances menu (CTRL ALT D) the pull down menu will appear top left, from the menu select Debug Settings... a small window will show in the box type rendervolumeLODFactor and set the value to 1024 or some other large value. press enter once you put in the value and exit the window. This resets every time you restart second life annoying, yes i know.

Great little vehicle for fast attacks.
Just got done doing some drive-by fighting in New Jessie with a gunner on the back. A real challenge when you have to shoot on the move and only take one hit to kill.

----Key Features of Awesome----

-Simple controls
-Animated wheel movement
-Animated front fork with steering animations
-Rider position
-Public/Private use
-Rider can have normal or "gunner" animations
-GTFO button
-Camera! I don't know if this was made to be a vehicle or made to be an exercise in camera functions for Dingo. The number and styles of camera positions on this thing are fantastic. I normally drive in mouselook, but when I am not, the Driver position is incredibly helpful. The overhead position is great for fans of things like the original Grand Theft Auto games, and the standard is a good option for those who find the Driver position too close up. Fantastic job on the cameras!

---Points That Could Be Improved---

-Gears. Low is too slow, and high is often too fast. I'd go with a three-speed so there is a happy medium.
-Shifting. Its hard to while driving, and I don't see a command to do it in a gesture. I'd suggest using E & C as a gear-shift, but those are already spoken for. I'd say add commands like "l" "m" and "h" for the gearbox.
-Steering. It is a little too sensitive at times. I'd suggest maybe lowering it at higher speeds.
-Flips pretty easy by mistake, sometimes even when going up a curb. However the "E" key can take care of that.
-Self Deletion. When using it in a LLCS sim it would be useful to have it self delete when the rider dies. However, in a sim such as New Jessie, it was fine, because my teammate and I would fight our way back to it, and people would try to jack it. I'd suggest a toggle.

-Engine sound. I find it a bit too quiet, but that is a personal preference.

All in all, a great little vehicle.

Great Job Dingo!
