Ambulance for sale (improved version)

This is one of the finest ambulances in SecondLife. Almost all of its parts are fully custom made from the textures and the engine sounds up to the physics engine that powers this truck.

An ambulance can be a life saver but its also a formidable road monster. Its not easy to drive but the custom made physics engine will give you full control over its 5 gear powered engine. Of course the ambulance is equipped with diffferent siren sounds, multiple engine sounds (not just the idle and run) and when you need to rescue people in a tight spot..... there is no need to call in the helicopter guys. Because this IS SecondLife, the ambulance comes with a flight support system that allows you to switch to flight mode (using special keystrokes or using the menu). It will be able to hover or realistically bank and turn.

Of course there is room in the back for both a patient (poor guy or girl) and the attending Paramedic. The interior is nicely textured as well, so all the medical equipment is "within reach".

The lightbars can be switched on and will use animated textures and particles to make the lights look as realistic as possible. The headlights can be turned on when it gets dark and the emergency lights on the side will provide enough light to provide medical assistance in even the darkest nights.

Oh... and if you want to impress your friends: When you are done dont just delete the ambulance: DESTROY it!

Facts and figures:

* Custom scripted physical engine that gives full control using 5 gears
* Reverse power is also dependant on the gear setting
* hit the shift-left arrow special key (and sound) for brake activation
* hit the uparrow-downarrow simultaneously (or use the menu) to switch from flight mode to normal mode
* Realistic turning, so pressing the right arrow when moving backwards will turn to rear to the RIGHT (as it should)
* Control to allow PUBLIC access (the ambulance will WHISPER all chat or only
OWNER access (the ambulance will use ownertalk, so no one will hear it)
* Multiple siren sound settings, light switches for headlight,sidelights and light bars are all menu controlled
* back doors swing open to enable access
* Custom made tire and wheel textures rotate in the right direction and with the correct rotation speed
* Multifunction wheels not only turn in corners but flip over to become power turbines in flight mode

A serious note:

This ambulance was modelled after a real ambulance that drives the streets of Toronto as we speak. It was made for Kellys Thor, an award winning paramedic in RL. He is using this ambulance as part of his goal to determine if and how SecondLife can be an additional educational tool in paramedic training. Do go to his place and take a look there.
