Good Tool to have
And now I have it too, in my inventory. Thinks of making a sit pose as a first assignment for myself.
great little hud
been able to quickly and easily fix many many poses to my liking. easy to use!
Great product
This is an awesome product, it's enabled me to make and sell poses and even some animations. I'd give it 5 stars if the creator could make the joint adjustment increments smaller. Currently the preset positions are pretty far apart.
Good for rough adjustments and in-world referencing, but not fine tuning or animation.
The Animare pose/animation creator HUD is really ONLY a pose creator HUD. You can't create animations with it at all. This is just to clear things up for people wanting to buy an in-world animator.
Animare is very good for getting a rough reference for a pose plan inworld. This product is very limited when it comes to adjustments. You can get basic ideas (especially if you want to create a pose or look at some animation references) for a larger- or smaller-than-normal Avi. Good examples of this would be Gorean men, child avatars, and even chibi avatars.
If you want a finely tuned pose that mimics a real life pose, you will have to use an outside animation program. (QAvi is free, and is a very good compliment to this program, even if it is very old!) Animare just cycles through a set number of angles (i.e. 16, 8, 0, -8, -16) for each point. You have three adjustments you can make for each one, usually relating to the three angles.
Also, do NOT expect to get a full body reference. Animare does not have space coordinates for your avatar. If you want to create a sit position, you'll have to edit the Animare poseball's vertical position. The Animare creator was intelligent on this one and offset the avatar when you sit on the poseball, THEN s/he made the poseball the avatar is sitting on opaque enough so you can see it.
All-in-all, Animare is a great and inexpensive item to help budding animators and posemakers start poses in SL and transfer them to an outside animator for better work. It's not as reliable for animations of any type due to the fact that you need space coordinates for an avatar that Animare doesn't cover.
it's ok...
Not what I thought it would be, You can't REALLY make a pose out of it..the numbers for the joints are a little big its not one by one. It's better to create the pose with qavimator first and then edit the pose with animare :/.
