Aphrodite Christmas Croquembouche platter
A croquembouche or croque-en-bouche is a French dessert consisting of choux pastry balls piled into a cone and bound with threads of caramel.
The name indeed comes from the French phrase croque en bouche '(something that) crunches in the mouth.
This pastry concoction is one of a family of desserts known as pièces montées, or "mounted pieces."
A pièce montée is a dessert which is carefully constructed from an assortment of components, and designed to look as ornate and festive as possible. These desserts are often so elaborate that people are hesitant to eat them, and in some cases, a pièce montée may actually be specifically designed to be ornamental, including inedible ingredients like wax or cardboard to support the structure.
Is just perfect for holidays, Christmas table or even new year to eat as dessert together with a nice glass of champagne or a hot coffee.
We had made this croquembouche platter in MESH and incredibly is 2 LI only! Presented on a beautiful silver plate and topped with a dark red silk ribbon.
Delivers two different flavors on touch, vanilla or cocoa.

THE STAR OF THE PARTY
When I was looking for food for our Harvest Moon Party recently, I wasn't sure what I wanted, but as soon as I saw this croquembouche, I thought, "YES!" It was such a beautiful central piece (together with cheese platter), that I couldn't have wished for a better table focus. Aubrey's tip about putting my LOD to 4 was invaluable ... good to know!
