=I N T R O D U C T I O N=

The purpose behind this item is not just the working product, but to share how it was created with those interested in creating their own.

I made this vendor for the purpose of selling our sims role play products at Trinity. At first I tried searching on Xstreet for a product to do the same thing, there are many systems out there, but as ever not flexible enough for what we needed i.e. no mod, so I could not make changes to anything, too expensive, heavy on prims therefore slow, or the worst wanted something like commission in return.

Atlantis RP products are a little different, fully mod and copy, no commission, low on prims, simple to use and a resonable price.

Single Item vendor with notecard instructions on use and a copy of the script for you to use if you want to make your own ; )

=F E A T U R E S=

Fully mod and copy. Though the Vendor is textured it has been left reasonably blank so that you may add a picture of the product you wish to sell. Smart script able to promt customers on incorrect payments and give refunds if needed. Users will get a notecard when they touch your vendor and visual text to prompt them to right click and pay the amount set to recieve their purchase. You will receive an IM for each sale that is made with the customers name. You can also touch the vendor to see how much money has been earned and the number of units sold since vendor was rezed.

= I N S T R U C T I O N S=

a). To use your vendor simply drag it from your inventory to the area you wish to place it. Once it has rezed, a pop up screen will appear asking permission to take Linden $ from you. Accept this, do not worry, it is how you get paid, nothing funny!
b). If you are selling your items in a bundle, place them all in one box.
c). To place your boxed item/s in to the vendor, right click on the vender and select edit. This will open SL's editing menu. On this menu you will will see the "Content tab". Click on this and drag your boxed item from your inventory into the content panel.
d). In the content tab, also place the notecard that your customers will recieve when they click on the vendor. Your notecard should have information such as products description, features, price etc.
e) Texture tab. Click on the Texture screen with the existing texture in, this will open the "Pick a texture menu screen" Look through your textures and left click on them once to see what they will look like on the box. When you are happy with your choice click the blue select button at the bottom of the "Pick a texture menu screen".
f). To change the text that appears when one of your customers touches the vendor or makes a purchase, double click on the script in the contents tab, and simply delete my text that appears between the speach marks "........." and add your own. DO NOT DELETE the speach marks.
