Since the time of the ancient Greeks we knew that Earth is spherical and the only way to represent the features of our planet's surface without distortion and so preserving the dimensions and shapes of the geography is to use a globe.
Here we present you the Atlas - named after the Greek titan who held the celestial spheres - this terrestrial globe was crafted with all the attention to detail that such a wonderful scientific object deserves.
100% original mesh, built with land impact economy and with excellent Level of Detail (LOD) even at medium default settings of your viewer preserves the shape for big viewing distance.
All the textures are original and baked specifically to give the best representation of the materials.
The Atlas globe is also ALM materials ready (shininess and bump map) To enjoy these texture features you must activate your Advanced Lighting Model in your viewer preferences under the Graphics tab.
To turn on the globe rotation just click on the sphere to start and click again to stop the rotation.
