This is a ten minute demo version.
Inspired when my girlfriend started wearing tall platform heels, this device automates the process of setting your hover height, using RLV.
Intended for shoes with high platforms, it could also be used for AOs that intend to make your avatar float off the ground, or for simply adjusting yourself to correct for the ground below you.
FEATURES
Auto height setter automatically sets your hover, or shoe base height, when attached (you need to input your desired height).
Menu has a few default heights, and you can type in your own custom heights.
Optionally, you can toggle sit correction on and off- if you find yourself floating above chairs when you sit down, enabling the sit height correction automatically corrects your position while seated.
Additionally, you can also use this to raise or lower yourself once seated, to better fit in chairs.
Your settings and defined heights are saved in the shoebase itself, so you can make multiple copies for multiple different outfits/shoes.
On top of everything else, since this is a scripted device using hover height, you can set your shoebase height way above or below what normal shoebases could ever do.

Object is copy and modify so you can rename the shoebase with different outfits or shoes, and change the HUD image if desired. Scripts are no modify.
This device relies on RLV to function, it won't work with Linden Lab's viewer.
Firestorm, RestrainedLife, Catznip, and many other third party viewers support RLV.
The specific function used is "@adjustheight", no other RLV functions are affected.

Works As Promised A+++
This handy little device comes with two parts - (1) ShoeBase and (2) ShoeBase HUD. It is copy and mod so I can use the HUD to set the height and place them in folders for each shoe or outfit I make. This way, I am automatically at the correct height when I wear platforms, sandals, boots, etc. I do not have to wear the HUD when I am not setting the height, so it is basically used only once per outfit I set up.
If I sit or lay down, it automatically sets my height to 0, which is perfect. Once I stand up, it raises my height back to the right one again, remembering the setting perfectly.
What else can I say? It works great and is a terrific addition to my collection of gadgets. A+++
