A simple device to judge your avatars actual height according to the SL scale. This is simply a 3 meter tall prim with a scale on the sides. The prim is a phantom meaning you can stand "inside" it to better judge your height. That's all it does.
PLEASE READ THE FIRST PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD AND WRITE CRAP REVIEWS OF THIS FREE ITEM.
The SL viewer and user-created height detectors does NOT give you the correct height of your avatar. This is because they use an attribute called llAgentHeight which does not actually show the avatar height. What this means is that avatars are actually taller than what the Viewer says in edit shape mode. Some attempts have been made to compensate for the error in scripts, but to the best of my knowledge there is no way to determine the exact height so they remain estimates.

I use this in my store to give customers a simple way to figure out how tall they are and it's released for free to promote the creation of properly scaled merchandise in SL.

Marvelous: better than scripted height meters
Having used it, I would be willing to pay money for this product. It's that useful. Dead on accurate, visually appealing, instantly ready, and doesn't depend upon scripts that often lag horribly in sandboxes. Kudos.
Not what I was hoping for.
Not a clickable item, doesn't do any script-based measuring. You just stand by it and note which mark your head reaches. Also, only in meters.

Sometimes simpler is better. You rezz this and stand in it, that's a no-doubt way of figuring how tall you really are. Turns out that both phoenix and LL viewer reports wrong. Phoenix says I am 2 meters with my heels, the LL viewer says I am 1.8 m but I am actually 1.9 m. Can't argue with a prim.
Exactly what it says and well textured
It's what the desc says, you stand beside it and can see how tall ur ava really is. It's got a very nice textured scale it.
I dunno why someone else gave it 1/5 because this is exactly what it says and its free. Maybe it's someone who got miffed when she realized her expensive no-mod shape is really 2.5 meters tall LOL!
