General Description
=============
Avatars wearing items with an excessive number or high CPU usage scripts can cause severe sim lag. The Avatar Script Scanner HUD enables a host or hostess to select and scan any nearby avatar and show the number of scripts running in each attachment as well as the CPU time and the attachment's creator (excluding HUDs). It also shows the total number of scripts for the avatar (including HUDs) as well as the total script CPU time consumed and the total number of prims in all attachments. It shows this information in private chat to the HUD owner.

Now also includes a rezzable, non-HUD, mesh version that can be placed in the owner's store or venue that enables anyone to click on it to see their own script/attachment details. The mesh object has 3 additional faces that you can apply your own textures to (e.g. logo, ad, instructions, etc.). They are set transparent by default.

Alternatively, you can drop the Avatar Script Scanner script into any object or HUD you create for a more customized look.

Setup and Operation
==============
There is no setup required. The only parameter that can be changed is the maximum range setting. This is set using the Range button on the HUD menu. The default setting is 20 meters, which corresponds to the maximum range at which normal chat can be heard. There is no maximum setting, but the avatar detection is limited to the current region. If the HUD is detached and re-attached, the maximum range will revert to the default 20 meters.

To operate, wear the HUD, optionally change the range setting, then select the desired avatar. You will see the script information in your private chat.

NOTE: The avatar name buttons in the menu are ordered from closest to farthest, starting in the lower left and ending in the upper right. When there are more than 9 avatars within range, you will see Next and Previous buttons to scroll to the next or previous menu. The limit is 100 avatars.
