Working on a new project or a script? And someone sneaks you up from behind?
It happened to me several times, so i made this alarm system.
Very small HUD so it will not disturb your vision.
Click on the HUD to open the menu and select the following functions:
-- Adjustable scanning range: 0.1m. to 96m.
-- Help button.
-- Clear list.
-- Howmany agents to scan:1, 2, 5, 10, 25 or all.
-- Alarm sound off.
-- Soundcheck.
-- Bell volume in 10 steps.
-- Voice alarm on/off (one-time action for new visitors and local chat notice).
-- Reset menu: Auto reset or manual.
-- Colors: 5 different text colors and 3 tap colors.
-- Update speed: 1sec, 5sec or 10sec (refresh cycle).
When someone enters the scanning range, the alarm bell rings and the Avatar name(s) appears above the HUD in your screen including distance.
- Bell sound when someone is nearby.
- Lots of preset options.
- Small HUD.
- Keeps working when entering no script area.

A 'Must Have' item
Amazing thing to have, and so simple to use! I don't like people sneaking up on me, especially newbies who think it's a fun thing to do. I love how easy it is to use and set, I have set a loud bell alarm, wonderful !

Would be nice to have an option that makes it so it alerts you via Nearby Chat as well. That way you can keep logs of people that come nearby.

A few days later, Ydille contacted me personally and implemented my suggestion! Now the name of whoever is in scan range pops up in your local chat.
I have no real problems to speak of anymore with this product, so I'm changing my 4 stars to 5. If you need a lightweight proximity alert system, you can't go wrong with this one!
Better Have One!
This is the hud you want for an audible alert, for when you are not looking at your radar because you are busy doing something else.
I find it useful when doing target practice and you do not notice a griefer coming up from behind to molest you, because you are concentrating on your shooting and hitting targets.
No sandbox because you do not rez anything, you just right-click on the item in your inventory and choose "add" to place it on your screen. You can move where it goes by right clicking on the new hud on your screen and choosing "edit" and using the little blue and green arrows to drag it into place.
If you do not see it, and this applies to any new hud you are adding, do an edit on one of your already existing huds, then scroll to zoom out, and it pulls the huds to the center of the screen so you can see where they are.
