LC Design present in the Replica Series B-25 Mitchell RAF.

The North American B-25 Mitchell is an American medium bomber that was introduced in 1941 and named in honor of Major General William "Billy" Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. Used by many Allied air forces, the B-25 served in every theater of World War II, and after the war ended, many remained in service, operating across four decades. Produced in numerous variants, nearly 10,000 B-25s were built.

This B-25 of the J series built in 4390 copies and is characterized by a glazed nose or a full nose. This plane is one the nearby 900 received by the RAF. The Mitchell entered active RAF service on 22 January 1943. At first it was used to bomb targets in occupied Europe.

This B-25 Mitchell is livered with the invasing stripes used during the Normandy invasion. After the Normandy Iinvasion, several squadrons moved to forward airbases on the continent.
