Ebberston Hall, called also Ebberston Lodge, is one of the finest examples of L'architecture de plaisance ever built on the English soil. Situated near the village of Ebberston, it has embellished the North Yorkshire landscape since the 18th century.

Renowned Scottish architect Colen Campbell constructed the Hall in 1718 for William Thompson (c. 1680–1744), Member of Parliament for Scarborough. The Hall can be seen in 'Vitruvius Britannicus' (1725), and unlike a typical English country residence, it reflects the size and shape of a summer retreat. It was apparently intended as a hunting lodge that was modeled after summer villas in the Italian countryside. The three-bay loggia with Tuscan columns on the first level of the north elevation provides a view of the gardens. The Hall was built to take advantage of the narrowing views up the valley called Kirk Dale it was built in, and the contrasting expansive vistas across the Wolds.

The Parlour, Library, Dining Room, Master's Bedroom, Entrance Hall and the staircase that leads to the area below the stairs, where the service rooms are situated, are the six rooms that make up the Piano Nobile. This floor's living spaces are all heated by unique for each room Adam Style fireplace. A double-door entrance leads from the Entrance Hall onto the loggia, which is located in the centre of the building. In addition to the loggia, the house is preceded by a large terrace that is perfect for planning outside activities.

The kitchen, the cupboard, the larder, the housekeeper's room, the butler's chamber, the servant's bedroom, the servant's staircase, and the corridor are the eight rooms that make up the ground floor, which has two different exterior entrances, situated on the sides of the building. Food is being cooked over a sizable hearth in the kitchen, and the housekeeper's chamber is heated by a fireplace.

Wonderful build. I find the size very authentic and perfect for what I was looking for.
I was able to mod everything to make it fit my needs.
On top the creator provided the maps for the walls so I was able to change the wallpapers!
