BF Telescope (boxed) Version V4.1
Blue's Fantasy is excited to announce a versatile telescope system modeled on an 12 inch Newtonian telescope on a German equatorial mount.
The system consists of the telescope itself, and a ladder so you can sit and reach the eyepiece.
Sitting on the ladder lets you view the stars in all their beauty.
The telescope has two modes of operation. Firstly, the telescope can view any of the images available from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (http://www.sdss.org/). You can use the included HUD to navigate the sky and zoom in or out on objects. While in this mode, you can right click on an object visible in the eyepiece and touch it, and this will center the image on that object. Chat commands are available to point the telescope, including specifying right ascension and declination in decimal or hh:mm:ss dd:mm:ss. You can also specify any catalogue name or number, for example, M53.
There is a modifiable notecard called "Objects" that contains co-ordinates for all the Messier objects that are in the SDSS footprint. This is used to select a random start image each time someone uses the telescope. You can add additional objects to this by simply editing and adding a new line.
The second mode of operation can be accessed by clicking the Blue's Fantasy logo on the HUD. In this mode, the telescope displays textures located in its contents, and cycles through them on touch. You can add additional textures into the telescope's contents and they will immediately be available to cycle through. The telescope comes with 8 preloaded views of some of the creators' favorite sky objects.
Land impact is 1 for the ladder and 3 for the telescope.
Included in the package is an optional 2 prim observatory dome to cover the telescope, which opens and closes on touch. Also included is a relay screen that if rezzed, will display the same image as the sitter sees though the eyepiece. Great for show and tell!

Awesome Telescope and Help
Awesome setup and outstanding help. Just set up the V4.1 set of Trust Telescope, Telescope, and Display with Blue’s help. Visit the Carl Sagan Observatory and check it out. Would love to get other databases connected too. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Triasm/213/220/36
