B*K Railings Pack ~Full Permission~

I bought these back in 2019 - I STILL use them to this day! There are a couple of minor quirks, as others have stated, but as a builder I honestly didn't care and found easy, quick workarounds. FULL PERMS, people! That means the potential for these to eventually make your builds more sellable is there. All it takes is some practice, some ingenuity and some know-how. For 10L I couldn't possibly leave anything other than an amazing review after 3 years of much usage!

Buffy, I really have to say also that your houses at promo prices of 49L / 99L / etc (most all 26 land impact or BELOW!) are absolutely wonderful!! Thank you for providing fully built homes for those out there that don't have 1000L or more to drop on a house, it is appreciated more than you know. ♥

Price is basically free. LI is low and gets slightly lower when linked, & LOD is good, but I just couldn't do 5. These have several cons that are begging for 3 stars if it wasn't for the pros I mentioned. Mix / matching 1, 2, no post pieces & resizing / texturing them is a process. The sizes are all a different scale. Have to match them up by eye instead of copy/paste in edit box. The height position of each also needs to be by eye because of this. And as another review mentioned, the spacing at the ends of each type are different and no single post included, so it's just a lot of work to put together a simple deck railing and make it all match. I would've gladly paid a lot more for this without these issues, but I'm happy with the result after spending a bunch of time making it happen. If you're not an experienced builder or pretty good with edit tools, this will frustrate you trying to match them up. If you like a good challenge, then the good LOD, low LI, and low price makes it a perfect buy. If you plan to use this in a build for sale, DO NOT use the gate unless it's set as locked and no mod.

VERY GOOD

High LOD and versatile. Easy to texture, low LI. They go well with Craftsman design but could fit with a range of styles.

I don't understand why a previous reviewer got a LI of 25 when linking 30m of fence together; I used six of the half-sized units as a balcony railing and got only 6 LI for a similar length. (I kept them unlinked because when when I linked them together, the LI increased to 7, because mesh is sometimes weird that way.)

The same reviewer pointed out a problem with the gate post turning with the gate, which is accurate.

Through creative stretching, I was able to make these fit where I needed. It took some work, but for L$10 you really can't go wrong.

TL;DR: Good for the price; attractive; a few minor issues.

Great set at an amazing price! I have no clue what the previous review is talking about, They sounds a bit bitter to me, lol these are just 10 Lindens and they work very well

first off the railing only with no posts is set up such that if you add it to one that has a post, then it is a 1/2 space instead of a full space. There is no single post so if you want to have a situation where you are running the full length and do not want double posts, then that can not happen. So I slipped part of the fence into a wall and that worked and for the first problem. I put a no post inside of two with a posts. but when I finished and linked it all it was 25 prim for 30 meters of straight fence.

Oh yeah and the gate, when you tough it to open it, the post that is in the ground rotates with the gate. So that looks wrong. An unexpected surprise was a no mod script for the gate. Thank you for that. In my situation it will not work since it is no mod because when I open one gate, they all open since the script is one channel and it is no mod so I can not change the channel. But it is a nice well written script if you are only using one gate.

I really did not want to mesh any more today but since I can find no mesh fences that fit my needs and this one is so high in prim I went ahead and meshed my own and got it in world 14 prim for 30 meters of fence and still managed a very high LOD.

So summary I got a script that is no mod that I can use sometimes if I only want one gate. That is worth the 10L by itself. The rest I will just chuck in the bin. but it is a nice fence for some uses. It is just not good enough for my resell items.
