Cool script install and all, but the texture on it is really dark! Past installation the textures are dark. In the script there's like.. some tongue texture that doesn't even seem used (it was grey when scriptfriend helped me on a cube to see) and the default tongue texture is some weird loop thing (Great UV by the way) that the script seems to auto-go-to by how the tongue works. Because I found more UUID stuff in the script, either there's some more explaining to do, or the tongue is borked? Either way, too dark for the look I wanted... hoping for updates! Or at least to figure out what I'm somehow doing wrong...

Got if for a humanoid demon avi, easy to script, resizes nicely. May end up modding one of my various anthro avis to use it as well.
Worth the price
Originally I was turned off because of the price, but given that the tongue auto-configures when you pop the script in... that saves so much work in and of itself that it's worth it. Simple to modify, simple to set up, pretty fancy. Looks awesome on my Rift Dragon.
Getting there
I've wanted this kind of tongue for a while and this tongue is nearly perfect, had no issues installing it.
Pros:
- Installing, it is very easy to install, if you know how to align prims you'll be able to install this tongue no problem.
- Mod able, of course it is but so many products from other stores set their items to no mod for no good reason.
- Looks good from afar.
- Grid, shows a grid while installing on all the tongue frames so you know where the tongue will come out at while installing it, a great feature.
Cons:
- Price, your basically getting a set of untextured mesh tongues with some clever scripts, to be honest a more realistic price would be 125.
- Look, the tongue looks great if your not paying too much attention but sadly scripts in sl can only go so fast, if you pay attention you can see how choppy the tongue goes as it moves to tongue frame, even the jaw movement is a little jumpy.
- Textures, there are non.
Final thoughts:
Add a selection of textures or at the least add some preset tongue colors that are already set for leading furry avatars in sl.
Add more tongue frames.
Lower the price to $L125 until the above is added.
All and all its a step forward to a long realistic demon/snake/dragon like tongue in second life, would I recommend this product, yes, the price is a little off but I don't think your going to find anything better at the moment.
