[=====================================]
The Group Changer HUD has been fully updated to version 5. Highlights include
• The code base has been fully rewritten to take advantage of the new Linkset Data data storage. All the associations are now stored independent of the script in the HUD.
• An updated method to backup and restore your HUD data that does not rely on notecards.
• A more robust method to detect currently active groups and determine if a group change event is necessary based on where you are in the world and your configured associations.
• A new "Manual" mode to allow you more control of when a group changes are carried out. "Automatic" mode still fully supported if that is your preference. Choices are good!
• All new features and update are included in the box, and the instruction manual linked below has been fully updated.
As always lifetime updates and general redeliveries are available from the MP or any convenient Capervend redelivery terminal, depending on where you received your HUD from.
[=====================================]
This HUD will automatically change your active group when teleporting into a region or simply crossing a sim boundary.
• It can be setup to change groups at the Parcel level as well as the Region level
• If a Parcel within a Region and the Region itself are both listed, the Parcel entry takes priority.
• This HUD can also be configured to set a default group, or even unset active group, if no association is found for the region you just entered.
Useful reasons to use this HUD include:
√ To help ensure you are in the correct group for an area before you start to rez or build objects.
√ If you frequently travel to shops or places where contest boards, MM boards, or other objects require a specific group to be active to interact with.
√ If you belong to several roleplay groups and an active group title is used to determine your place within the play area. (Please note that this HUD does not support selecting individual roles/titles inside a specific group)
The HUD can also attach items for a group when that group is set active and detach that item when the group is changed out of. Handy for combat meters in combat sims, or a dance HUD at your favorite nightclub.

This HUD is entirely menu driven. No need to edit note cards or edit the object to configure it.
• Land+group associations can be backed up to a separate backup tool.
• While not required, the ability export region+group associations into a notecard is still supported as a method to share your land+group associations with alts (or friends). These notecards can be imported into the backup tool.
This HUD requires RLV/RLVa to be active on your viewer. The official Linden Labs viewer does not have this functionality and as a result this HUD will not work on that viewer. I have tested this HUD on the Firestorm and Singularity viewers.
NOTE: Enabling the RLVa functions does not in any way put you or your viewer at any risk. RLVa is safe.
‡ Simply enabling RLV will not invade your privacy, lag your viewer or cause you to breach the Second Life terms of service.
‡ Only RLV(a) object that may directly affect your avatar are those that are owned by you. All other objects in the world require a relay device (owned by you) before they can interact with your avatar.
‡ You do not need a relay device for this HUD to function, and this HUD does NOT act as a RLV relay device and will not allow other object to interact with your avatar.

Simply the best
This HUD has made SL so much easier! No more forgetting to change groups before making a purchase or forgetting to add on some required HUD or other item for a special sim. The creator is incredibly responsive and helpful as well for any issues! 5 stars only because I can't give it 6
Still chugging along!
This is a great hud to have. I used to use a different one but it didn't handle multiple stores on the same SIM very well at all. So, I tried this, and works great. There's only one tiny request if I had one. If it could have like a hover text with the current group activated on the hud would be so fantastic. Thanks for this hud!
Excellent for group gift grabbing
Works easy and perfect.
As one addicted to freebie collecting, it solves a huge issue of changing to the correct group at teleport. Plus, it solves group switching with several parcel stores on the same sim.
Love this thing!
I've been using it for the past year and love having it. No more "you forgot to change your tag" on rp sims or missing store discounts because I forgot to change my tag before I purchased something!
Still works in 2019
I admit, I tried to buy another one with this avie to save a few lindens, and none of them worked. Naturally when I IM the creator, they blamed me, claimed I didn't have rlv enabled, claimed I was doing something wrong. One creator sent me a notecard how to edit scripts myself. Sheesh. 125 lindens are not much at all. Dont waste money on the 60L ones, they do not function at all. Trust me, I've done the leg work. This is the only one that still works seamlessly with the latest firestorm update to try and stop the group tag animators. BN really is the best.
Group Change Joy
This is an awesome tool, helpful and clever!
