BURL LONG CASE CLOCK
Burl Long Case Clock
This is a classic rendition by Rodas Fine Quality Products of a late 18th century burl mahogany long case clock fashioned by maker Edmund Prideaux of London, recorded 1743-1790.
It features a typical London two step base, brass reeded hood columns, a pierced and fretted top, eight day quality with five pillar movement and hourly single bell rack striking a Westminster chime sequence.
The finely matted center holds a twelve inch break arch brass dial with strike/silent, a subsidary seconds dial, and a square date appiture above six o'clock position.
This product is menu driven and fully functional with moving hands that keep the correct time (GMT) as well as a swinging pendulum and seconds tick.
