[BW] M50 - Box

first of all .. i rate on 4 stars, 2 to rate the product and 2 to rate the service (as the first one is nothing more than one we are forced to give in order to post a review)

I purchased this weapon a while ago ..
i give two stars for the weapon: i like the design and the customisation.

no stars for service: i took time to wait a LONG time before posting my review...
apparently some people get immediate answers with updates if needed plus an "apology gift" .. good for them
on my side .. i asked a simple question that simply reqired a yes or no ... never got any answer .. oh btw .. it was 4 years ago .. tried to re ask .. still ignored

The gun works great as a whole. Accuracy is high, mag capacity is about what you could expect from a standard rifle, and the parts look great. My only issue with the gun is that because of all the optional parts, a hud would be incredibly useful. Having to remember the different commands for each part is a mild annoyance, especially on such a well made gun. Food for thought.

I was a bit gun-shy (hurhur) about purchasing another BW weapon after being a bit disappointed by the Cerberus, but I decided to give them another shot (heh).

Pros: Attractive and unique mesh design that looks futuristic without adding ridiculous tron lights all over it. Hold anim actually looks good on my AV, whereas AO's made for Beefy McLarge Huge bodies look terribad on female bodies. Some nice options on the scopes and silencer. Works with standard rdraw/rsling command gestures. Very decent rate of fire with 820rpm. Extremely fast reload time just bordering on legal for most combat sims. Bullets are nearly invisible so you won't give away your position as easily, but then it kinda makes the silencer just a cosmetic enhancement. .

Cons: BAAAAAD accuracy. Gun has a very high spread, and default vel is 150mps, which would be great for an SMG, but this is supposed to be an assault rifle! The spread, while not as stupid-big as the Cerberus, still has only 65% of my shots landing on a 2x2m square target at 100m. Setting to burst fire helps a bit, and semi more so, but nowhere NEAR as much as it should, Any decent assault rifle should be able to reliably hit a bulls-eye near every time on semi at 100m, where as here it barely places all 35 shots in the 2m target zone. On the cosmetic front, see that sweet hex-pattern camo in the ad? Guess what, YOU DON'T GET THAT! You don't get ANY skins with this gun besides the default. Instead, you get the option to use the UUID of ANY texture you want. In theory that sounds fantastic, but they don't provide ANY, so you gotta get a hold of your own if you want to personalize it at all.

Functionally this is by no means a BAD gun... as long as you use it like an SMG for close-range encounters only. Past 50m and you're taking a risk, and past 100m you are likely just going to hit a lot of virtual air and dirt while your opponent draws a bead on you.

I give a full five stars on this. It's a beautiful gun. Amazing mesh build. Great features. Great animations and sound effects. And above all, great competitive price. Blue Works does it again! However, initially when trying out my gun, I noticed a bug with the grenade launcher feature. Through some exploration and experimentation, I discovered that the grenade launcher command was assigned to the standard foregrip (grip:on) instead of the grenade launcher grip (grip:gl). I contacted the maker with the description of the bug, and not only did they send me a free bugfix update in a matter of minutes, but they also sent me a free Blue Works Judge handgun as a gift of appreciation for my assistance. I am certain that when it comes to firearms, I am now a loyal Blue Works customer.

The gun is stunning, the sounds are amazing and the accessories kill it as usual!

Just one observation, I tried to get the scope following the instructions (Which read: "sight:aimpoint - Replaces existing sights with a X Scope.") and I was unable to, but when I tried /1sight:scope it worked, it looks amazing, very happy with this acquisition.
