Dada Umpa? Well, you see, there's a scandal attached to the name. In 1961, Alice and Ellen Kessler, two great German dancers, came to Italy and appeared on television--and they were very naughty because while dancing to the song Dadaumpa they completely exposed their legs! *gasp!* They were forced to cover up in subsequent appearances, but provided a fantasy for a generation. :) Here's a tribute to them.
