Balcony House – Tudor Style
Carefully textured both inside and out the build provides a high-quality home for the discerning resident.
You will need a space of 32,25,20 meters for the house.
The house is raised above ground and steps lead to the front door. An entrance room leads directly to the spacious ground floor living area
on a slightly higher level, which not only features a large balcony but also an imposing fireplace complete with hanging arm for cooking pot.
The fire is menu driven and includes flame intensity/size adjustment and also sound and smoke.
Double doors open onto each of the balconies and these not only provide a good view around but have the space to accommodate furniture
for relaxation.
Both sets of doors open wide to maximise balcony area. All doors can be set to owner, group, everyone or individual named avatars. To gain
access to the menu simply place your mouse over any door and a hand will appear. Move the hand towards the floor and the menu will appear to set
access. If you wish to name avatars then please see the note card in each door.
You may also set the doors for “auto” opening or requiring a mouse click to open. My preference is for a click to open and close, especially
for the balcony doors, but you can easily change all settings to suit yourself.
Leading from the ground floor is the stairs to the upper floor. As with the ground floor here again double doors open to a second balcony.
The photographs will, I hope, illustrate the attention to detail that is so obvious throughout the house. Woodwork is rustic in style with twists
and bends as with natural timber. Shadows are used to bring out form and shape to best advantage.
The build is almost all mesh (main floors are prims for better physics) and benefits from a low LI of only 113.
You will receive the house boxed. Click the box and the contents are copied to your inventory. (Perhaps now is a good time to make a couple of copies “just in case” but you can always have the item re-delivered any time).
Drag the rezzer from your inventory to the ground. A simple mouse click will rez the structure and you can position it by simply moving the rezz box itself. It is often best to position the rezzer a little way above the ground for rezzing the structure.
The house is sold as copy and modify.
