Presenting Mr Sidney Arctor's All Purpose Cargo, Vehicle and Passenger Lifting Balloon Rig, or the Balloon Cargo Rig for short.
While other airships will only carry a limit number of passengers, the Balloon cargo rig can carry a vast crowd of foot passenger, as well as cargo and of course, any manner of physical land vehicles. It does not however have any passenger seating.

The 4 hydrogen balloons provide enough buoyancy to lift any object that can fit on the deck, and the hand-sculpted 8 cylinder internal combustion engine will provide the thrust needed to move your cargo to your destination, and the sturdy folding doors keep it all secure.
The lifting capabilities of the craft are almost without limit, the only constraint is the size of the deck: 6.7 metres in width and 9.3 metres in length (lifting longer objects is possible, but not advisable as the doors will not close properly). Any object or number of foot passengers that can fit between the doors can be transported.
The only requirement for lifting objects is that they are set to physical. this unfortunately precludes some non-editable objects from being lifted, however as almost all land vehicles are physical when driving, your no-mod car can lifted as long as there is someone in the driving seat (which thanks to the remote control function could be you).
A brilliant alternative to a boat ferry, the Cargo Rig can carry passengers or cargo to your island, or to a fixed airship or permanently floating structure. Also it makes a perfect platform for skydiving, it can be used to lift small boats from the water into dry dock, and at only 30 prims makes traversing sims much safer than in high prim craft.
