The problem with 90% of all vehicles in SL is that they are created with ACS scripts WHICH SUCK.
However, this creator did it right. The handling of this isn't as STUPID as so many others. I was able to maintain steering on twisty-turny old crusty Heterocera roads and circle Inner Lake Road in gear three without going off the road once!. Sim crossings notwithstanding, this thing handles the way cars *should* handle.
The mesh LODs are fantastic, also. Too many creators using those super-crappy tires that go to pot when viewed more than 10 meters away. But this thing is sweet all the way out to sim borders and beyond. I have no problem paying more money for higher quality and this thing is priced better than many of those pieces of sh... I digress.
The one big thing I HATE, HATE, HATE about ACS is that stupid "mouse-driving" and I wish there were a way to turn that OFF. I like to go into mouselook but continue driving as though not in mouselook (with the keyboard) - so this is a mark against it. I know the creator can turn this "feature OFF" - why they turn it on is beyond me, I believe the majority of drivers never use mouselook to begin with, and those of us who do prefer it just want mouselook, not the vehicle going HAYWIRE while in there.
Too bad I didn't see the FATPACK with this Off-Road version and the "sexy beach" version together or I would have purchased that, but too late now, because if they all handle like this one then it's worth the money.
Wonderful job in so many ways with this one!
