Not enough good-looking fish dudes available, so I'm glad I found one that has quality construction.

This is an unusual avatar for sure, but that's one of the best points about it. It's got a unique body shape and the detailed normal/specular textures are sure to impress any fan of sea creatures. The water effects are also a nice touch, in case you want to take a quick dip and dry off realistically.

The R'lyehian translator is just cool. A small but cool feature for sure.

This avatar isn't bento but it's not a dealbreaker by any means. No rigged fingers, mouth parts, or eyelids but it's more than functional for what you need. The frame and prim animation work fine on this avatar.

As far as modding goes, you're free to experiment but there are no other addon packs for this so what you see is what you get unless you feel like getting a new color. There's also no clothing so get used to showing off your handsome fish body for the world to see; only makes sense after all.

As others have said, there's no AO built into this. Kind of disappointing but the recommended AO does a pretty good job, although the unique shape means you should absolutely test this avatar before buying animations for it as some will distort it, mainly with sitting animations inverting the legs. The good news is that you get a collection of voice gestures to help gesticulate your VC adventures, which is nice. I recommend finding a way to lock the neck bone in place as the recommended AO will move it around and make things look weird. I found mine through a quick search on the MP and it really helped.

It's wet, it's cool, it's an original look that will fulfill your dreams of being a fish monster and then some, and it makes me want to see this redone with bento, an AO, and a complete swim HUD. 5/5

The suggested aos really don't work for it very well, and i feel it sort of subjects from the feel of the avatar if it doesn't move well. don't know why bentbox is so secretive about what one they use for the pictures, but i havn't found an ao yet that fits this av. the most important part of a monster av is making it move right.

This one is actually beautiful in it's own right. I've only worn it for a day or two and I've already gotten a load of compliments. The level of detail and clean rigging is something I would expect to find on a $L2,000+ avatar.

Disregard complaints about no AO, it includes instructions to find one that fits - I'm just using AOs I already owned and they've been fine. For the price it is very worth it.
